Hello and thanks for stopping by. I am a 3/4 time knifemaker, somewhere between part time and full time. I have been making knives and other cutting tools for over 20 years now, and I got serious about it around seven years ago. The majority of my early knives weren''''''''t particularly appealing. Mainly redoing store bought or scrounged blades, then came stock removal and I still do some when requested. About eight years ago I joined the American Bladesmith Society and have been happily forging away ever since. I really appreciate the help and advice the ABS members have given me. I think some of my main influences have been Jim Crowell, Mike Williams, Bert Gaston,Jerry Fisk, and Jerome and David Anders. I prefer using knives in standard styles with some "different" things every now and then. I have also done swords. I am also a japanese sword collector and like hardening lines on blades.
I am also now a ABS Master Smith. If you see me at a show please stop by and say hello.
Thanks again
