This knife was made to order for Les Robertson of Robertson Custom Cutlery for one of his customers. It is a recurve style bowie with a very visible hamon and I think one of the nicest knives I have made. It is one of my standard models now. It comes with a Kenny Rowe sheath or a Larry Parsons sheath.

This is an edo style tanto. During this period (1700''s) the more somber look was preffered, instead of the more elaborate fittings of the later eras. This blade is polished to show the hamon and has a simpler cord wrap with fuchi, menuki, and kashira of blackened brass. If you would like one let me know.

This is the first damascus bowie I have made and I think it turned out great. The damascus is a ladder pattern of 1080 and 15N20 in 316 layers. The guard, ferrule, and buttcap are of blackened nickel silver and the buttcap is filed to match the contours of the stag. A light quick and good looking knife.
